The SPIRIT has a fairly narrow width at 0.46m, yet is stable and safe in rough seas for a competent paddler. It is perfectly suited for athletes and racers seeking more of a challenge from their kayak expeditions. The kayak has fore and aft bulkheads and its sturdy carbon kevlar construction weighs in at just 14kg, making it very fast on the water - and easy to load onto the top of a vehicle. If manufactured in vacuum infusion method the weight will be around 10kg. With a length of 5.5m, the hull is very directional, but it still comes with a rudder to control cross winds or cross seas.

The Spirit may not be suitable for less experienced or larger paddlers.
